Course overview

This module is a reconstruction of an accident where an individual is struck by a falling object.  There are two underlying factors throughout the film; co-ordination between teams and complacency of the hazards and risks associated with the task.

There are also a number of latent failures along the way and the responsibilities for these will span both management and operatives.
The two areas of focus are:

  • The prevention of falling objects
  • Individual behaviours that contribute to a positive safety culture on site

For classroom training there is a maximum of 8 delegates per session.
